I've been playing Mount and Blade since Warband and played Bannerlord 2 religiously in 2020 so I'm familiar with what dismissing someone does. I haven't had a private chat with this particular missing character in quite some time.
he is in the game 100% for sure. if not, you wouldnt see the wanderer / name in the wiki-list to be recrutable. YOU have to find/see him in a tavern and the "never seen" goes away. edit: ALL wanderers at start are "never seen before". you have to find them Sure they are in the game, thats why it is bug.
Hasbulat Jan 30, 2022 @ 2:30pm. Just start the campaign mode, solve the main quest till the step rescue the family, grab you bro and siblings and forget the main quest fully, Play sandbox like. You have no timers, no disadvantages at that stage, you have to talk just to 10 nobles about the quest fight.

Find Daughter, Family Feud, Training Noble, etc etc! So make sure you complete the quest quickly and get rid of the extra companion before your companion sent out on quests are due to return or it will bug them out. Those named the Falcon have high Leadership and Tactics and Riding, plus good weapons skills. In your party, they can be selected to do quests for you. They also make good party leaders, and if you set them to leading a caravan, they will develop their Trade skill and become good caravan leaders.
Custom companions online! Mod. A few days ago I've seen a post that told about website that lets you add custom companions. However, I couldn't find the post again and it was, I think, somehow lost as I haven't seen any shares so far. The website is called butterlord.com.
Too many female companions. It's hard to find companions who aren't a woman in this game. What happened to the social ideologies of Warband where women were like outcast of the warrior society? In Warband it was hard to find a female companion, now in Bannerlord it's hard to find a male companion.
I would love to see a companion actually grow and be useful instead of: - taking a "fleshed" out companion on level 13+ - using a blank level 13+ companion (Wants daughter found quest). Which is basically on a powerlevel of a child. I kind of want a level 1 hero and i cant even find a mod for 1.8 that does it. this is a great observation.
